At this moment in time we have some extra visits to the Library booked till late November.
Current Library Dates are :
We have finished our 4th Library visit display today and will return, after our show, on the 24th of August for our 5th visit. I probably won't have a new winners poster in time so will have one for September 21st.

I have had a chat to Maggie and Philip and we are welcome to attend a coffee morning on a third Wednesday of the month at The Holy Trinity Church on Lysander Road. We are allowed to give a small presentation to the attendees and promote our Allotments way of life. Maggie has the A4 Poster for the Church notice board and I am currently writing up a few lines for the chat at some stage.
We will also be allowed to sell some of our merchandise display and it seems, receive a donation to help raise money for our cause. I have some ideas on the presentation and will look forward to chatting to the Organiser.

Fairmead Special School Visit, 8th July 2026
Chris Pinney and his assistant arrived with Class 10 at about 10.40 am. They walked from the School and the weather was very hot. Manfred gave his chat and a tour of his plot and then covered most of the Milford Dip Site explaining some of the plots history and ownership.
One of the plot holders, Patricia, had grown cucumbers and presented the class with one each as a gift. I have asked Chris whether I could display one of his photos, I have asked permission but it will probably be down to the School. The visit lasted 45 minutes and I presented a bag full of goodies in appreciation of the visit and to establish a bond with Fairmead Special School.
Chris expressed an interest in getting more classes to visit and maybe The School as a whole getting involved. It is all future work and we look forward to the outcomes.
Chris has kindly supplied the photos below of the visit. He has accepted an invitation to the Annual Show. I think he will like the Show set up and the display.

I am going to personally support SoH with my donation. The committee will be placing their support behind the marketing of their work and website. I am therefore reinstating the web link to them and offer some marketing support through our site as a committment from us on the power of therapeutic horticulture. There will be a visit by me in September to Three Acre Wood when I will add some pictures and a few paragraphs supporting their project. I will be paying for some gifts to take and will be using the money to fund our association.
